Making A Difference
Have you heard companies say "Cruelty Free" "Helping Animals"... yes, those are endearing terms, but we at Zanqara feels those words are empty if change isn't actually being made. We at Zanqara actually own a farm, that's where we grow some of the fresh ingredients for the products. We rescue sick livestock, unwanted dairy bull calves that would be left to die, we take unwanted roosters and old chickens that can't lay anymore. We take rejected lambs and goats, or babies that have deformed legs or neurological damage and give them a loving home and a fighting chance. The calf in the photo is GG, one of our baby girls that was two days old and very sick, she actually didn't have a high chance of survival. She was a twin, which we ended up taking her twin brother and they live happily at our farm, fully recuperated. This takes over 50% of our profits to do and it is worth it.
